Pounds of pot. Officers used a confidential informant to purchase marijuana from two men Nov. 9, according to a police report. The informant allegedly met the men on the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard and persuaded them to sell him marijuana for $1,650 per pound. Officers arrested the men and seized nearly 100 pounds of marijuana, according to the report.

Hang up the phone. A man called police Nov. 9, left a message, then called again shortly afterward to ask why he had not heard back from an officer, according to a police report. He became angry when he was told that his message was forwarded to the internal affairs unit, according to the report. He allegedly called a woman at the police department derogatory names, and she warned him that she would hang up if he did not stop. After she hung up the phone, the man reportedly called back 12 times. An arrest warrant for harassment was issued, according to the report.

Lies and a stolen car. Officers stopped a vehicle on the 8300 block of East Colfax Avenue on Nov. 12 and learned it had been reported stolen. One of the passengers identified herself using a false name. The woman had three outstanding warrants and was cited with supplying false information, according to a police report.
